Job summary

HDR is seeking a Right of Way Project Manager to lead ROW teams across a portfolio of infrastructure programs in New England. You will coordinate with design, environmental and utility groups, drive project delivery, and mentor staff to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

You will manage client expectations, plan staffing and training, and contribute to business development while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years related project management experience.
• Experience leading right-of-way work for complex infrastructure projects is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Build and retain strong relationships with team, project managers, and client development managers.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, quality, and client commitments across multiple projects.
• Direct multidisciplinary teams and coordinate right‑of‑way activities with design, environmental, utility, survey, legal and program management teams.
• Maintain QA/QC procedures and ensure consistent project delivery practices.
• Mentor staff and support recruitment, training, and onboarding of ROW professionals.
