Job summary

HDR is seeking a Right of Way Project Manager to lead ROW services for power, transportation, water, and oil & gas projects across the New England region. You will recruit, develop, and manage ROW professionals, coordinate with design, environmental, and legal teams, and drive project growth while ensuring client satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have broad knowledge of ROW delivery, be able to oversee multi-project scopes, and contribute to business development initiatives within HDR's

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and related professional experience.
  • 7 years related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
  • Ability to interact with various design teams and strong communication skills.
  • Active participant in employee-owned culture.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of Right of Way processes in infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with team, project managers, and client development managers.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, quality, and client commitments.
  • Direct multidisciplinary and distributed teams and balance workloads.
  • Coordinate right-of-way work with design, environmental, utility, survey, legal, construction, and program teams.
  • Maintain QA/QC procedures, technical standards, and consistent delivery practices.
  • Mentor and retain staff; identify training and advancement opportunities.
  • Support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of ROW professionals.
  • Support strategic planning, marketing, proposals, interviews, and business development.
