Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Right of Way Assistant Project Manager to support successful delivery of ROW projects across the Mid-Atlantic region.

You will assist with planning, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and client communications while coordinating among acquisition agents, title specialists, and project teams. The role emphasizes strong organizational and communication skills, with a focus on maintaining high client service and adherence to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 5 years of related experience.
• Ability to interact with design teams and communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

• Support PMs or Leads for successful delivery of right of way projects by assisting with project planning, execution, budgeting, scheduling, reporting, and client communications.
• Coordinate activities among acquisition agents, title specialists, project managers, surveyors, appraisers, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project schedules, parcel status, deliverables, and milestones, identifying risks and recommending corrective actions.
• Assist in tracking project budgets, forecasts, invoicing, and change management activities.
• Prepare project reports, status updates, meeting summaries, and client-facing documentation.
• Support landowner engagement and help resolve property rights issues.
• Coordinate quality reviews and verify documentation complies with standards.
• Assist with resource planning and workload coordination to align teams with project needs.
• Build strong relationships with clients and internal teams to promote successful outcomes.
