ROW Project Manager — Lead Multisector Infrastructure

Job summary

HDR seeks a Right of Way Project Manager to lead a team of ROW professionals in Massachusetts and the New England area, coordinating with design, environmental, utility, survey, and legal teams to deliver projects on time and within scope.

You will manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, and client commitments while mentoring staff and supporting business development. Local residency preferred; drug screening may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• 7 years related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years project management experience.
• Ability to interact with various design teams and strong organizational, project management and communication skills.
• Active participation in employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Build and retain strong relationships with team, project managers, and client development managers across Massachusetts and New England Area.
• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risk, quality, and client commitments across multiple projects.
• Direct multidisciplinary and distributed teams, balance workloads, and support staff loading and workshare across the region.
• Coordinate right-of-way work with design, environmental, utility, survey, legal, construction, and program management teams.
• Maintain effective QA/QC procedures, technical standards, and consistent project delivery practices.
• Mentor, develop, and retain staff; identify training, licensing, and advancement opportunities.
• Help area ROW Leadership plan for project needs and support recruiting, hiring, and onboarding of right-of-way professionals.
• Support strategic planning, marketing, proposals, interviews, and business development in the Resources and Transportation markets.

Education
