Job summary

ERM is recruiting a Right of Way (ROW) Agent to support pipeline and electric transmission projects in Northern Indiana or Eastern Illinois. The role covers land acquisition, rights, licenses, permits and related documents for construction, operation and maintenance.

It is a full-time, 12-month position with potential extension. The candidate will conduct negotiations, assist in damage claim settlements, evaluate property interests, and prepare entry documents.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of ROW experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma or equivalency accepted.
• Oil & Gas, diversified energy or electric transmission experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Earth, ArcGIS and data management software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diverse and complex negotiations with landowners or their designees.
• Settle complex damage claims related to project construction.
• Search courthouse and other records to determine property ownership and interests.
• Advise on fair market values for land and rights acquisitions.
• Draft/oversee documents for rights of entry, leases, permits, options and related agreements.
• Ensure compliance with corporate health and safety policies.
