Job summary

ERM is hiring Right of Way (ROW) Agents across Multiple Locations in the U.S. to support pipeline and electric transmission project efforts. ROW Agents will be responsible for the acquisition of land, land rights, licenses, leases, permits and other documents necessary for the construction, operation and maintenance of facilities.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of ROW experience.
• High school diploma.
• Knowledgeable in real estate values and appraisal practices.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Earth, ArcGIS and data management software.
• Ability to travel to remote locations for long periods.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Must meet criteria identified in Job Demands & Conditions Analysis for Office and Field Positions.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate with landowners to acquire land rights and licenses.
• Settle complex damage claims related to construction.
• Search records to determine ownership and interests.
• Advise on fair market values for acquisition of land and rights.
• Prepare documents for rights of entry, damages, contracts, easements, licenses, leases, permits, options to purchase and related documents.
• Comply with corporate health and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
