Job summary

McCormack Baron is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee multiple properties, ensuring Tax Credit and Section 8 compliance and leading the on-site team. You will manage day-to-day operations, leasing, resident relations, and vendor coordination across properties while maintaining strong relationships with residents and local officials.

A HS/GED and 2+ years of PM experience are required. The role requires extensive travel across properties; proficiency in Yardi and Microsoft Office

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in Tax Credit and Section 8 housing compliance combined with strong operations background.
• Multiple staff supervision required.
• Strong management, leasing, and marketing skills are critical.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Software experience with Yardi required.
• Ability to read financial reports and complete variance reports.
• Monitor expenses per property budget.
• Oversee vendors and contractors on site and obtain proposals.
• Read and interpret manuals and documents; knowledge of regulations.
• Clear communication with residents and staff; valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to multiple properties and assist with special projects.
• Travel extensively to assigned properties to provide support.
• Operate the property per company policies and management plan.
• Oversee all resources to achieve budgeted financial and operational goals.
• Manage day-to-day operations including resident relations and staff supervision.
• Build positive relationships with team members, residents, community, and city agencies.
• Hire, lead, direct, evaluate, and manage staff including maintenance specialists.
• Oversee leasing processes, resident relations, and occupancy compliance.
• Process project reporting in a timely manner.
• Meet with local, state, and federal representatives, residents, and vendors.
• Conduct routine property inspections for regulations and standards.
• Adapt to challenges across different communities.
• Responsible for all community operations and team management.
