Job summary

Aperto Property Management, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Roving Assistant Community Manager to support LIHTC and HUD programs across our San Diego properties. You will help create welcoming communities and ensure smooth operations.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in property management (300+ units preferred), 3+ years in affordable housing, and strong customer service. Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus; Yardi and MS Office skills are essential. Benefits included.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of property management experience, ideally with 300+ units.
• 3+ years of experience with Affordable Housing, HUD and LIHTC.
• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.
• Proficient in Yardi and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, organizational and customer service skills.
• Team player with proactive problem-solving attitude.

Responsibilities

• Guide prospective residents through the application process, screening, and move-in.
• Coordinate with trusted contractors, define project scopes, obtaining bids, and managing work orders to maintain our properties.
• Handle rent collection, deposit preparation, and monitor records, utilizing Yardi property management software.
• Foster a positive living environment by engaging with residents and enforcing community rules with empathy and consistency.
