Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor for Performance Food Group, is seeking a Routing Manager to lead outbound delivery routing operations, optimize routes, and drive continuous improvement across the delivery network.

The role partners with Transportation, Warehouse Operations, Sales, and Customer Service to ensure on-time delivery, cost efficiency, and exceptional customer satisfaction while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of transportation, logistics, routing, distribution, or related operational experience.
• 1+ years of leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop routing personnel through hiring, training, performance management, and career development.
• Design and optimize route structures to improve service levels, fleet utilization, labor productivity, and transportation efficiency.
• Own daily and strategic planning of outbound delivery routes serving restaurant customers.
• Analyze routing data to identify trends and implement improvements.
• Maintain routing system integrity and master data accuracy.
