zTrip is seeking a detail-oriented Routing Coordinator to plan and optimize daily transportation routes. You will assign trips based on driver availability and capacity, monitor performance, and adjust routes for efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and optimize daily transportation routes to maximize efficiency and service quality.
• Assign trips based on driver availability, vehicle capacity, geographic location, and scheduling requirements.
• Monitor route performance and make adjustments to improve productivity and on-time service.
• Coordinate route changes and accommodate operational requests as needed.
• Ensure proper trip coverage and efficient route distribution.
• Monitor active routes, schedules, and fleet activity throughout the day.
• Respond quickly to service disruptions, delays, and operational challenges.
• Collaborate with operations and dispatch teams to maintain efficient transportation services.
• Support on-time performance and service excellence across all transportation operations.
• Identify opportunities to improve route efficiency and resource utilization.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for route-related communication.
• Provide timely support and guidance to drivers regarding route updates and schedule changes.
• Assist in resolving service concerns through effective coordination and communication.
• Ensure accurate communication regarding trip status, delays, and transportation updates.
• Promote a positive and solution-focused experience for drivers, passengers, and internal teams.
• Maintain accurate routing records, trip assignments, and operational documentation.
• Perform data entry and update transportation management systems.
• Track route performance, driver activity, and operational metrics.
• Assist with preparing routing reports and performance summaries.
• Review schedules, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
