zTrip is seeking a detailed, customer-focused Transportation Operations Coordinator to join our operations team in Norfolk, VA. The role serves as the communication hub between drivers, passengers, and management, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient transportation services throughout the day.

You will coordinate trips, monitor driver activity, communicate updates in real time, and support fleet utilization while delivering top-notch driver and customer support in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation services to ensure efficient trip coverage and on-time performance.
• Monitor vehicle and driver activity and adjust assignments as needed.
• Communicate service updates and changes to drivers in real time.
• Support route management and fleet utilization.
• Resolve service interruptions and scheduling conflicts.
• Assist customers with transportation-related questions and concerns.
• Maintain accurate service records and trip data.
• Track daily performance metrics and assist with reporting and data entry.
