Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) seeks a Router to design and manage efficient delivery routes for fine-tuned operations across multiple locations. You will work with Roadnet and various systems to ensure timeliness and cost effectiveness.

The role requires a detail-oriented approach, ability to coordinate with drivers and support teams, and adherence to safety and service standards within a Sunday–Thursday schedule.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years in foodservice distribution, logistics, or routing.
• Basic to intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Establish delivery routes that are cost effective and compliant with DOT guidelines.
• Develop routing procedures to optimize personnel and equipment use.
• Maintain Roadnet routing data: routes, times, days, and constraints.
• Produce reports on costs, off-days, maintenance, and KPI metrics.
• Recap previous days routing results and adjust routes as needed.
• Create maps and driving instructions for drivers.
• Generate driver manifests and distribute nightly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
