Job summary

Sysco Eastern Wisconsin, LLC is seeking a Router Apply professional to facilitate efficient routing of customer orders using Roadnet and related tools. The role requires planning routes, integrating new customers, and adjusting for seasonality while maintaining service commitments.

The candidate will analyze routes to reduce miles and delivery days, schedule drivers within overtime and DOT rules, and maintain loading information for warehouse teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• College degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Route all legitimate orders efficiently using Roadnet software and related utilities.
• Plan routes and integrate new customers, and adjust routes for seasonality.
• Analyze routes to reduce miles, delivery days and hours for cost control and consistency.
• Schedule drivers daily/weekly within overtime guidelines and DOT rules.
• Maintain loading and door information for the warehouse team and communicate with sales management.
• Prepare meetings and presentations for sales leadership to discuss service areas and costs.
• Ensure compliance with DOT and applicable regulations.
• Maintain Roadnet system and generate reports for management.
• Create proposals for transportation management to improve efficiency, customer service and safety.
