Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to lead and develop a team.
• Proficient with Windows/Microsoft applications.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Knowledge of local maps and routing.
• Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems.
• Familiarity with DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Truck driving capability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities and performance of route drivers.
• Train, coach, and direct employees to improve performance.
• Monitor safety, quality, and compliance with standards.
• Run routes as necessary during absences or vehicle breakdowns.
• Monitor and document attendance and performance records.
• Conduct driver observations and vehicle inspections.
• Plan and assign daily routes to meet company standards.
• Investigate accidents and property damage claims.
• Fill in during absences of supervisors or drivers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
