Job summary

Emterra Environmental USA is seeking a Route Supervisor to oversee daily union-represented drivers and loaders, ensuring routes are completed on time, safely, and in alignment with customer service agreements. The role involves coaching, safety briefings, and collaboration with dispatch and maintenance to maintain high service standards.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in waste hauling, logistics, or transportation.
• Supervisory experience in a union environment preferred.
• CDL Class B or A preferred or required per policy.
• Familiarity with GeoTab/Navusoft and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily performance of union-represented drivers and loaders.
• Monitor route progress using GeoTab, Navusoft, or other route management software.
• Ensure routes are completed on time and safely per contracts and service agreements.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Support onboarding and ongoing compliance with DOT, OSHA, and safety standards.
• Investigate and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reporting of repairs.
