Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking an energetic Route Supervisor to lead driver teams and ensure smooth daily operations across routes. The role emphasizes customer relations, safety, and on-time delivery, with a focus on efficiency and accountability.

You will train staff, review profitability reports, and assist on branch projects while maintaining strong communication with customers. A valid CDL/driver's license, DOT clearance, and a proactive, problem-solving mindset are required.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be 21 years or older to operate a company vehicle.
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle safely.
• Good driving record.
• Previous vending experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal communication.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Problem solver.
• Willingness to learn in a dynamic industry.
• Early morning hours.
• Ability to pass DOT screening.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the training and development of team members.
• Reviews reports for from supervisors and managers regarding profitability at accounts.
• Leads and assists on projects assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Maintains positive customer relations by visiting accounts.
• Manages Drivers.
• Implements headquarters and in house promotional activities.
• Supports company programs and branch goals.
• Monitors branch inventory percentages direct labor costs waste percentages inventory levels and consumption.
• Addresses customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours.
• Hours during Monday Friday with possible Saturday shifts for special projects.
• Other duties as required.
