Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Route Supervisor in Denver, NC, to lead driver teams and ensure efficient route operations. The role emphasizes service quality, safety, and reliable delivery within a dynamic food service environment.

You will train staff, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with the Branch Manager to meet profitability targets while maintaining strong customer relations across accounts.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising delivery or driver teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication.
• Ability to manage time and prioritize routes.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training and development of team members.
• Review reports for profitability at accounts and branch metrics.
• Lead and assist on projects assigned by the Branch Manager.
• Maintain positive customer relations by visiting accounts.
• Manage drivers and route performance.
• Support headquarters promotions and branch goals.
• Monitor branch inventory levels, direct labor costs, waste, and consumption.
• Address customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours.
• Other duties as required.

AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Route Supervisor. This is a full-time position in Denver, NC.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists in the training and development of team members
• Reviews reports for from supervisors and managers regarding profitability at accounts
• Leads and assists on projects assigned by the Branch Manager
• Maintains positive customer relations by visiting accounts
• Manages Drivers
• Implements headquarters and in-house promotional activities
• Supports company programs and branch goals
• Monitors branch inventory percentages, direct labor costs, waste percentages, inventory levels, and consumption
• Addresses customer inquiries/complaints within 24 hours
• Other duties as required

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License
• Must be 21 years of age or older to operate a company vehicle
• Ability to pass the DOT Physical
• Ability to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner
• Good driving record
• Previous vending experience is preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills for communicating with fellow workers and customers.
• Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time efficiently
