Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or relevant work experience required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of management or supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily route settlement activities, ensuring deposits, cash, checks, credits, shortages, and adjustments are reviewed, reconciled, and posted timely.
• Validate the accuracy of all route settlement transactions in the ERP system and help research variances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Treasury, AR, and Accounting to resolve discrepancies and payment issues.
• Monitor daily exception reporting to ensure settlement errors are addressed before period end.
• Validate deposits and card activity and ensure alignment with bank reports and GL; supervise team performance.
• Identify and implement process improvements to simplify and automate route settlement and reconciliation.
• Maintain desk procedures and training docs; oversee period-end close activities and variance resolution.
• Coordinate with internal/external auditors; ensure documentation is audit-ready.
• Provide coaching and development to team; communicate performance expectations.
• Travel as needed to cover cashier responsibilities across locations.
