Job summary

UniFirst is seeking a Route Service Representative to be the face of the company on the road, delivering and picking garments, building relationships, and driving on-time service across assigned routes.

The role blends field work with sales—upselling products, managing inventory, and maintaining safety while upholding a consistent weekday schedule. This full-time position offers versatile earning potential through commissions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or military service required.
• Driver’s License & Safe Driving Record: valid license, clean driving record, reliable transportation.
• DOT Compliance: meet all DOT requirements, including a physical exam.
• Strong Customer Service Skills: able to work independently while delivering excellent service.
• Relevant Experience: prior experience in customer service, route sales, or delivery is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage an Assigned Route: primary contact for customers, delivering and picking garments and products daily.
• Support Daily Operations: assist service team by loading/unloading route trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver Consistent, Reliable Service: on-time, accurate deliveries and returns with high customer satisfaction.
• Grow Customer Relationships: build rapport, address service needs, introduce new garments and products.
• Drive Sales Growth: identify upselling opportunities and grow the route.
• Represent UniFirst on the Road: operate a company walk-in truck on designated routes, prioritize safety, strengthen relationships.
• Engage in a Physically Active Role: work indoors and outdoors with energy and attention to safety.
• Contribute to Service Excellence: troubleshoot issues, manage inventory, ensure safety compliance.
• Maintain a Predictable Schedule: Monday–Friday daytime hours, no nights or weekends.
