Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Chicago seeks a Service Manager to lead all aspects of branch service operations, drive customer retention, and grow accounts. You will coach and develop District Managers and Route Sales Representatives to achieve high performance, safety, and compliance across route delivery operations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Production, and Office teams to reach branch goals while maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in route-based service or similar.
• Strong knowledge of route operations and service execution.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and fleet safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach District Managers and Route Sales Representatives to build a high-performing service team.
• Drive performance through regular coaching, evaluations, and career development planning.
• Ensure exceptional customer service via route audits, visits, issue resolution, and proactive communication.
• Support retention and revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, product sampling, and successful new account installations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Office teams to meet branch goals and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
• Promote safety and ensure proper vehicle maintenance and operation.
