Job summary

Grainger is hiring a Part-Time On-Site Service Representative for routes in Inglewood, El Segundo, North Long Beach, and Hawthorn. Shift is 30 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 7am-1pm. You will manage inventories, service customers, and promote Grainger solutions at multiple locations.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in selling or service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60lbs and/or work in difficult positions.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations.
• Receive and stock purchased product in designated customer locations; ensure stocking levels.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote loyalty.
• Follow designated route defined by routing software tools and maintain route guides.
• Identify continuous improvement opportunities in productivity, process, and cycle time.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility.
• Help create new orders by engaging with customers to identify additional product needs.
• Probes for customer needs during each site visit and works with sales partners to expand Grainger offerings.
