W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking an On-Site Service Representative for Visalia, CA. This part-time role (20 hrs/wk) involves servicing multiple customer locations, stocking products, and delivering outstanding service on a fixed daily route starting at 7am.

Ideal candidates will have 3 years in selling or service, a high school diploma, the ability to lift 25–60 lbs, and a valid driver’s license with insurance. Benefits are included and the company supports growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in selling or service environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 25 to 60 lbs and/or work in difficult positions.
• Collaborations and problem-solving skills.
• Valid driver's license in state of residence with insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Service multiple customer locations.
• Receive and stock purchased products at designated locations; maintain stocking levels.
• Resolve customer problems promptly to retain and promote loyalty.
• Follow route defined by routing software and maintain route guides.
• Identify productivity, process, and cycle-time improvements.
• Comply with safety and inspection requirements of the facility.
• Help create new orders by engaging customers to identify additional product needs.
• Probe for customer needs during visits and work with sales to expand Grainger offerings.
