Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. is seeking a Route Sales Specialist II to support training, ordering, sales, and merchandising of fresh baked products across routes servicing retail customers, restaurants, and institutions.

The role emphasizes maximizing sales opportunities and meeting customer expectations while following best practices and schedules. The RSS II may work non-traditional hours, weekends or holidays, with potential overnight travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related experience in retail sales, DSD sales, and/or business-to-business sales.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth with customers by planning, ordering, and execution.
• Operate company routes and coverages for RSRs time-off.
• Provide in-field training to new RSRs and RSTs on tasks and objectives.
• Establish and maintain strong customer relations to communicate sales solutions.
• Order product using an online state-of-the-art order planner to ensure freshness.
• Increase sales through shelf space expansion and in-store promotions.
