Job summary

Flowers Foods, Inc. in Lewiston, ME is seeking a Route Sales Specialist II who trains new Route Sales Representatives and oversees the ordering, sales, delivery, and merchandising of a broad portfolio of fresh bakery brands.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year related experience in retail sales, DSD sales, and/or business-to-business sales.
• Highschool diploma or GED required.
• Ability to train others and work with store managers.

Responsibilities

• Drive growth with customers through planning, ordering and execution.
• Operate routes and cover for RSRs when needed.
• Provide in-field training to new RSRs/RSTs on tasks and objectives.
• Maintain strong customer relations and communicate sales solutions.
• Order products using an online order planner and ensure freshness.
• Increase shelf space via promotions and displays; follow route structure and service times.
