Job summary

Farmer Brothers is seeking a Route Sales Associate to provide route relief, deliver and replenish beverages, and ensure customers are in-stock and serviced as scheduled. You will learn our standards for setting the beverage station and will drive customer satisfaction on every call.

On a typical schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, you will handle deliveries, inventory, invoicing, and basic repairs while promoting promotions and maintaining a clean, well-organized route.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Route delivery experience a plus.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Possess a clean and good driving record.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be able to complete a successful DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, replenish, and rotate beverage station products on each call when assigned to a route.
• Ensure equipment is clean and in working order, executing a minimum of one Cup Quality Check per day.
• Escalate customer issues quickly to the ASM and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Ensure all customers on a daily set schedule receive delivery and service as required.
• Manage invoices, inventory, and collections daily when on a route.
• Increase Revenue per Stop by identifying and closing distribution voids and executing promotions.
• Notify ASM of inefficiencies, customer dissatisfaction or opportunities found while running route relief.
• Assist ASM on inventory cycle counts, warehouse duties and customer related matters.
• Learn brewing equipment and perform basic repairs or adjustments.
• Follow The Farmer Brothers Way to Sell to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• May perform other duties including assisting in warehouse operations, accounts receivable collections, and customer service activities.
