Job summary

Martin's Famous Pastry Shoppe, Inc. is seeking a Relief Route Salesperson to promote products, drive sales, and provide exceptional customer service as the front line of our brand.

You will represent our legacy of cherished eating experiences and work to expand market share through store promotions and new accounts. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months’ related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of handheld order processing systems.
• Current, valid driver’s license required.
• DOT Medical Card or ability to pass DOT Physical examination.

Responsibilities

• Promotes product to increase sales via shelf expansion, promotions, end displays, and new customer introductions.
• Represents the company as a reliable route salesperson and maintains communication with store management.
• Operates sales ordering system, prepares paperwork, and manages cash accounts.
• Ensures safety and compliance with company policies and local regulations.
• Loads/unloads daily orders, maintains route vehicle cleanliness and maintenance, and meets sales goals.
