Job summary

Colonial Group in Fort Worth, TX seeks a Route Sales Support Driver to build strong relationships with customers, deliver products, and support route growth and profitability. You will operate a step van, verify invoices, manage daily routes, and assist the sales team with new accounts.

The role requires you to be 21+, hold a valid driver's license, have an excellent driving record, and possess strong math, communication, and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with a wide variety of consistent customer contact.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Demonstrated experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and think quickly to identify/solve customer concerns.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a step van to service clients.
• Verify daily maintenance and maintain operator documentation.
• Manage daily route to ensure timely delivery.
• Load/unload product per policy and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth.
• Develop leads, call on prospects, prepare service agreements, and install new accounts.
• Communicate pricing, policies, and services clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
• Follow safety practices and wear appropriate PPE as required.
• Perform other duties within scope as needed.
