Job summary

Colonial Group in the Tampa area is seeking a Route Sales Support Driver who builds solid relationships with customers, delivers products, and helps drive sales growth while maintaining safety and reliability on the road.

You will operate a company step van, verify vehicle maintenance, manage daily routes, load/unload, review invoices, meet sales goals, develop leads, and communicate pricing and policies to customers.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Customer service experience with a wide variety of clients.
• Strong math and basic computer skills.
• Experience selling services/products and generating new business preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a step van to service a diverse client base.
• Verify daily vehicle maintenance and complete operator documentation.
• Manage daily route independently to ensure timely delivery.
• Load and unload product per company policies and guidelines.
• Review invoices daily for accuracy and make corrections as needed.
• Meet sales goals and promote route growth to increase profitability.
• Develop leads, call on prospective customers, and secure new accounts.
• Communicate services, policies, and pricing clearly to customers.
• Monitor customer feedback and promptly address issues.
• Adhere to safety practices and perform other duties as assigned.
