Job summary

Alsco Uniforms is seeking a Route Relief Utility Driver to support service departments, drive responsibly, and up-sell services on routes. This non-exempt role reports to the District Manager and requires excellent communication and a proven customer-service mindset.

You will deliver and collect, manage accounts, and uphold safety standards while collaborating with service, sales and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction on every route.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License and CDL when applicable.
• 21 years or older to meet driving requirements.
• Clean driving record with no chargeable violations.
• Excellent English communication, both written and spoken.
• Two years of experience in sales, customer service, delivery, or public-facing work.
• Willingness to support other service team members.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products and pick up soiled linens on assigned routes safely and on time.
• Provide outstanding customer service to build loyalty and strong relationships.
• Communicate with decision-makers and proactively resolve service concerns.
• Follow Service SOPs for installations, deliveries, and account management.
• Maintain accurate inventories, route books, and customer files.
• Handle customer payments, credits, and change orders accurately.
• Upsell services, promote products, and refer leads to Sales.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and maintain truck cleanliness.
• Load/unload products and move carts up to 500 lbs. and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and dress code.
• Collaborate with service, sales, and operations teams as a reliable relief driver.
