Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Anchorage is seeking a Route Relief/Utility RSR to support the Service Department by covering routes, handling deliveries, and helping with up-selling and cross-selling of our textile and service lines while providing superior customer service.

Reports to the District Manager and works on a daily route schedule, with responsibilities that include processing route paperwork, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license; CDL when applicable
• Be 21 years or older
• Minimum one year of safe and successful driving experience
• Excellent customer service and route sales experience
• Strong English communication, time management and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Perform all responsibilities of a Route Sales Representative and related tasks.
• Learn and support all routes; fill in for holidays, vacations, or vacancies.
• Assist in rush deliveries, renewals, audits, training and other tasks as directed by supervision.
• Solicit new customers, up-sell/cross-sell and ensure a profitable product mix.
• Participate in promotions, training and audits and maintain service quality.
• Follow company policies for new customers and manage customer needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate route paperwork and inventory control.
• Safely operate delivery vehicle on public roads and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
