Job summary

LRS, an industry leader in waste recycling solutions, seeks a Dispatcher in Minneapolis. This role is pivotal in coordinating and optimizing driver allocations, ensuring efficient service delivery while maintaining clear communication with all stakeholders.

The Dispatcher will manage routing adjustments in a fast-paced environment to meet service goals and customer satisfaction. Preferred candidates will have dispatch experience, a valid driver's license, and strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months dispatch or logistics experience preferred; 2 years preferred for complex operational environments.
• Prior experience in waste management, transportation, or customer service is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily routing and resource allocation.
• Assign and adjust driver routes to maximize productivity.
• Maintain communication with drivers and operations leadership.
• Troubleshoot and resolve en route issues.

Skills

Valid driver’s license; CDL (Class A) preferred

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Familiarity with routing and logistics software

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Associate’s Degree or higher (preferred)

Tools

Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
