Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Dispatcher to report to the Regional Logistics Manager. You will schedule and transmit drivers and equipment for transporting materials and freight while maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental standards across multiple facilities.

The role focuses on safe, efficient operations with strict adherence to DOT regulations and effective communication with drivers and the Logistics Manager during peak times and routine operations.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role or related field.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and scrap industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to locations per customer requests and requirements.
• Communicate with drivers to address questions, problems, and service needs.
• Relay information to and from the Logistics Manager and other Dispatchers.
• Coordinate road testing for newly hired drivers.
• Monitor driver logs to ensure DOT compliance.
