Job summary

• Experience with routing software and logistics preferred.
• Strong communication skills (written, verbal, listening).

• Proficient with Microsoft Outlook.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create efficient delivery routes, considering travel times, DOT restrictions, and traffic patterns.
• Plans and follows up daily route assignments to meet company standards.
• Coordinate best routes with management, considering staffing and driver capabilities.
• Maximize truck capacity for most efficient routes.
• Communicate with drivers about areas of improvement and concerns.
• Ensure timely deliveries for customers with time constraints.
• Coordinate pick-up of returns with efficient routing and safe loading.
• Pull orders and transfers efficiently and accurately.
• Assemble orders and label properly.
• Stack large orders on pallets and secure with stretch wrap.
• Verify product and count accuracy.
• Ensure loads are stable and meet DOT requirements.
• Perform daily forklift and battery checks as directed.
