Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is seeking a Routing and Dispatch Coordinator in Austin, TX to oversee daily planning, routing, and dispatch of drivers and technicians. You will work with District Operations and regional leaders to create efficient routes that maximize field resource utilization while maintaining strong customer service.

You will guide routing infrastructure, explore scheduling optimization, and monitor performance dashboards to drive operational excellence across locations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• Associate degree is preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in operations analysis, routing, logistics, technician scheduling, and/or dispatch.
• Multi-location routing and scheduling experience is preferred; propane experience is a plus; supervisor or management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, route, and dispatch delivery drivers and service technicians daily.
• Ensure efficient propane distribution and optimal field resource utilization.
• Collaborate with District Operations, Customer Experience, and regional leadership to optimize routes and metrics.
• Serve as the subject matter expert for routing infrastructure, scheduling tools, and related dashboards.
