Job summary

Rumpke of Ohio, Inc. in Cincinnati seeks a Route Supervisor to supervise a team of drivers and ensure safe, efficient service to customers. You will work with management on hiring, training, coaching and performance evaluations, focusing on safety, customer service and productivity.

Responsibilities include managing daily driver performance, coaching, monitoring safety standards, assigning routes, handling incidents, and covering for others as needed. Must have class B CDL and be able to travel.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Experience in leading and developing a team is preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT/OSHA regulations is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the daily activities and performance of route drivers.
• Train, coach, and direct employees to improve performance.
• Monitor quality and safety standards and ensure compliance goals are met.
• Run routes as needed due to absences or vehicle issues.
• Plan and assign daily routes to service customers per standards.
• Conduct investigations for accidents and property damage claims.
• Fill in during the absence of other supervisors or office staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
