Job summary

Alsco Uniforms in Indianapolis is seeking a Service Manager to lead branch service operations, drive customer retention, and oversee performance of District Managers and Route Sales Representatives. You will coordinate with Sales, Production, and Office teams, ensure safety standards, and focus on compliant, on-time route delivery while delivering strong financial results.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of leadership experience in route-based service or a similar service-driven environment.
• Strong knowledge of route operations, customer retention, performance management, and service execution.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations, fleet safety, driver qualification requirements, and workplace safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and coach District Managers and Route Sales Representatives to build a high-performing service team.
• Drive employee performance through coaching, performance evaluations, and career development planning.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by overseeing route audits, customer visits, issue resolution, and proactive communication.
• Support customer retention and revenue growth through upselling, cross-selling, product sampling, and successful new account installations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Production, and Office teams to support branch goals, identify growth opportunities, and maintain a safe, compliant work environment.
• Promote a safe working environment and enforce all safety standards. Ensure delivery vehicles are being properly maintained and operated safely.
