American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple Newark-area retail locations, displaying and maintaining inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, plush and party goods. You will work independently, using a company tablet and coordinating with store teams to ensure attractive, organized displays.

The role emphasizes strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to lift up to 40 pounds and travel between sites.

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• Must speak/read/write English.
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Access to reliable transportation for multiple locations.
• Access to reliable internet for updates.
• Able to learn and use the company tablet for training and tasks.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and retail locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and inventory tasks.
• Communicate questions or schedule concerns to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail setting with good time management.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Occasionally assist with store resets and minor fixture tasks.
• Review weekly service schedule using a company tablet.
