Job summary

American Greetings is seeking a part-time Merchandiser to service multiple NY locations, displaying and maintaining greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, and more. You’ll keep backrooms organized and manage inventory, working independently across stores on a shared route.

We value reliability, English proficiency, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Training is provided, with 401(k) matching and flexible scheduling to fit around holidays.

Qualifications

• 18 yrs or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Access to reliable transportation as most routes have multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet to receive critical job information and updates.
• Technological competency—able to learn and use company provided tablet for training and daily activity/tasks.
• Meet scheduling needs - occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Service stores on your assigned route, including merchandising and organizing product orders and displays.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and oversee inventory tasks.
• Communicate with management any questions or concerns regarding service or schedules.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with strong time management and organization.
• Build relationships with store associates and management during daytime hours.
• Availability for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work and product relocation.
• Plan weekly service schedule using a company-issued tablet.
• Work independently and with a team.
