Job summary

American Greetings is a global leader in the Celebrations marketplace and is seeking part-time merchandisers to service multiple retail locations. You will display and maintain inventory of greeting cards, gift wrap, party goods, plush, and related items while managing schedules and using a company tablet.

Role emphasizes independent work across stores, with training provided and opportunities for increased hours during holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds with or without accommodations.
• Access to reliable transportation due to multiple retail locations.
• Access to reliable internet for critical job information.
• Technological competency to learn and use a company-provided tablet.
• Schedule flexibility including weekends and major holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve stores on assigned route, merchandising and organizing product orders.
• Display products in greeting card departments and other locations.
• Maintain organized backroom areas and other inventory tasks.
• Communicate questions or scheduling concerns to management.
• Work in a fast-paced retail environment with time management and organization.
• Build relationships with store staff during daytime hours.
• Be available for additional days and extended hours around major holidays.
• Assist with store resets including minor fixture work or assembly.
