Job summary

Trolley House Refreshments, the convenience services division of Trolley Hospitality Companies in Richmond, seeks a route driver to service vending and micro-market sites. Shifts begin at 5:00 AM, with 1–3 PM completion and rotating Saturdays every 16 weeks.

You will keep machines stocked and maintain high standards of cleanliness and customer service. Ideal candidates have a valid license and at least five years of safe driving, with prior route experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license (REAL ID required).
• Minimum of five years safe driving experience.
• Route driving experience in vending or similar is highly preferred.
• Inventory or merchandising experience preferred.
• Experience using smartphones and apps.
• Detail cleaning of food-related machinery to sanitary levels.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Shifts start at 5:00 AM.

Responsibilities

• Maintain stocked and clean vending machines and micro-markets on multiple routes.
• Provide professional customer service and address needs promptly.
• Record inventory information and relay to warehouse.
• Be proactive in resolving issues and support different route environments.

• As a jump driver you understand that each day may be on a different route supporting different levels of route drivers in different environments including but not limited to: hospitals, schools, jails, state offices, corporate offices, industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, laboratory facilities and much much more!

How You Will Make an Impact:

• Maintain working, well stocked, and clean vending machines, micro-markets, and/or coffee/water services on a variety of routes serving as the core resilience team covering vacations, absences, new market openings and filling in route stops that need extra attention.
• Enhance customer relations through professional and friendly customer service.
• Address customer needs and requests promptly and respond to customer complaints as they arise.
• Accurately record inventory information to relay back to the warehouse.
• Be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Valid driver's license (standard operator's license, CDL not required) - REAL ID Required. If not currently in possession one must be acquired in the first 4 weeks of employment.
• Minimum of five (5) years safe driving experience
• Previous route driving experience in vending or similar highly preferred
• Inventory or merchandising experience highly preferred
• Experience using smart phones and apps
• Experience in detail cleaning food related machinery to sanitary levels.
• Excellent customer service skills
• Start Your Day Early! Shifts begin at 5:00 AM

• $900 Per Week Training. After 60-90 days and coverage completion of a route will change to 6% average of total sales
