Job summary

Trolley House Refreshments, the convenience services division of Trolley Hospitality Companies in Richmond, is hiring a warehouse associate. You will pick, label, and stage items for deliveries, receive shipments, and help maintain inventory accuracy.

We value a team player who communicates well and stays safe in cold environments. This full-time role pays $18 per hour and includes holidays, paid time off, and health benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse, culinary, or foodservice setting preferred.
• Familiarity with food storage, stock rotation, and inventory management a plus.
• Basic technology and scanning system skills.
• Knowledge of food safety and handling standards strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during loading, unloading, and product movement.
• Ability to push and maneuver full pallets or ingredient containers with a pallet jack.
• Regular bending, walking, twisting, lifting, and standing for up to 8 hour shifts.
• Frequent work in refrigerated and freezer environments with cold storage conditions.

Responsibilities

• Allocating: Accurately pick food items based on delivery routes and orders; organize, label, and stage products for designated deliveries; collaborate with culinary and logistics teams for timely, accurate fulfillment.
• Receiving: Receive, unload, and store incoming shipments; verify items match purchase orders; monitor stock levels and report discrepancies.
• General: Maintain a clean, safe workspace; assist in other operational areas during slower times.

What you will be doing:

Allocating:

• Accurately pick food items based on delivery routes and culinary asset orders pulled from the system.
• Organize, label, and stage products for designated deliveries, ensuring completeness and readiness for transport.
• Collaborate with culinary and logistics team members to ensure timely, accurate, and efficient order fulfillment.

Receiving:

• Receive, unload, and properly store incoming food supply shipments, ensuring accurate stock rotation (FIFO).
• Verify that received items match purchase orders and report any discrepancies to a manager/supervisor.
• Monitor stock levels and notify management of shortages, overages, or inconsistencies.

General:

• Assist with trash, cardboard, and recycling disposal.
• Keep a clean and organized workspace in line with safety and sanitation protocols.
• Maintain clear walkways, shared work areas, and hallways for safe movement.
• During slower times, proactively assist in other operational or culinary support areas as needed.

What you bring to the table:
