Job summary

Trolley Hospitality Companies, Inc. is seeking a motivated kitchen support teammate for Groovin' Gourmets, our catering division serving the Richmond area.

This full-time role features a reliable schedule: Thursday through Monday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with opportunities for growth and learning in a fast-paced kitchen. You will help maintain order, assist other kitchen staff, and ensure cleanliness and safety throughout shifts.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail, essential for keeping areas clean and organized.
• Ability to stand for extended periods during shifts.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to food safety procedures and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Empty trash bins, collect and remove waste from floor and work surfaces.
• Run the commercial-grade dishwasher and manage related cleaning tasks.
• Manually clean various surfaces and scrub debris from pots.
• ProvideAdditional support to kitchen staff as needed.

What You Will Be Doing

• Empty trash bins, collect and remove waste from the floor and work surfaces, separate recyclables and properly dispose of grease.
• Run the commercial grade dishwasher, including using the sink sprayer, a lever-operated washing unit and a drying station.
• Manually clean a variety of surfaces, including scrubbing debris off pots and wiping down surfaces.
• Additional support kitchen staff, as needed.
