Beacon Mobility in Gardner, MA, seeks a Transportation Coordinator to supervise drivers and coordinate efficient routes across multiple regions. The role involves scheduling, dispatch, and maintaining professional relationships with guardians, clients, and staff.

Candidates should have strong customer service skills, problem-solving ability, and comfort working with children. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile tools is required; the position offers a 5:30am–6pm schedule with a $25/hour

Competenze

Must have prior supervising experience.
Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
Able to learn the programs used for scheduling and dispatch.
Comfortable working with children and guardians.

Mansioni

Supervise and advise 30–60 drivers and monitors.
Develop and implement efficient routes across regions to meet client needs.
Assign driver tasks reflecting employee skills and performance.
Receive, record, and deliver messages accurately; solve operational issues professionally.
Maintain compliance with company policies; develop driver skills through coaching.
Support continuous performance improvement and proper discipline when needed.
Spend time on routes to know clients, drivers, programs, and facilities; provide emergency back-up.
Build positive relationships with staff and customers, including guardians and clients.
Maintain organized records to support monthly billing counts.
