Job summary

The Kendall Group is hiring a Route Driver for its Lansing, MI operation. This full-time, onsite role focuses on delivering products to customer sites, maintaining safe vehicle conditions, and providing outstanding service.

You will assist in warehouse tasks when not out on deliveries, contributing to accurate shipping manifests and efficient routes. Qualified candidates have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and the ability to pass a DOT medical exam

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License with clean driving record; state licensing as needed.
• DOT medical exam and 1-year card required after hire.
• Ability to operate barcode scanners and basic warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service on deliveries and inquiries.
• Drive and deliver to customer locations in a timely, safe manner.
• Load and unload cargo and inspect for damage.
• Review and optimize delivery routes for efficiency and accuracy.
• Maintain accurate daily shipping manifests and perform warehouse duties.
