Job summary

The Kendall Group is seeking a Route Driver to deliver goods between customer locations and perform warehouse tasks as needed. You will be the face of the company, ensuring timely deliveries and professional customer interactions.

Role includes driving a van/box truck, loading/unloading, route optimization, and maintaining equipment while following safety procedures. Entry-level candidates with a high school diploma are welcome; DOT medical clearance may be required.

Qualifications

• Entry level work experience in wholesale distribution or delivery.
• Ability to pass a DOT medical exam and obtain necessary licenses.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate delivery vans/box trucks to customer locations.
• Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with customers.
• Load/unload cargo and maintain accurate daily shipping manifests.
• Review and optimize delivery routes for efficiency and timely delivery.
• Perform warehouse duties and operate warehouse equipment.
• Keep delivery vehicle clean and well-maintained; follow safety procedures.
• Attend meetings and training sessions and perform other tasks as assigned.
