Job summary

The Kendall Group in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking an Entry Level Delivery Driver to operate a delivery van and straight truck, load and unload cargo, and assist with warehouse tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include customer-interactions during deliveries, inventory checks, and daily shipping paperwork. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license with Chauffeur’s endorsement, pass a DOT medical exam, and meet safety standards.

Qualifications

• Entry level work experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Driver’s License with Chauffeur’s endorsement and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT Medical Exam and obtain a 1-Year Card (paid for by The Kendall Group).
• Ability to use barcode scanners, printers and standard warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers during deliveries.
• Drive products to customer locations and load/unload trucks.
• Maintain daily shipping paperwork and inventory counts.
• Operate forklift/hand trucks and other warehouse equipment as needed.
• Participate in safety initiatives and training sessions.
• Perform other warehouse tasks as assigned.
