Qualifications

• Must pass DOT drug screen
• Valid driver license with clean driving record for past three years
• Experience pulling trailer with pickup
• Meet company driving standards and fleet safety policy
• Ability to work independently without supervision
• Understand and follow work orders and written instructions
• Establish cooperative working relationships with coworkers
• Communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
• Knowledge of safe work practices
• Ability to work varied shifts depending on assignment

Responsibilities

• Safely drive and pickup or deliver roll carts and bins from residential and commercial accounts throughout the service area
• Ensure accounts are serviced quickly and without messes
• Unload carts in the wash area at the shop
• Safely load glass from recycle bins into pickup on residential routes
• Unload glass into storage box at the shop
• Perform daily vehicle inspection and maintenance; clean cab and exterior weekly
• Report vehicle defects to the shop coordinator
• Keep cart storage areas clean and organized
