Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Roll Off Driver to service customers by hauling waste and recycling materials to disposal or recycling facilities. You will deliver and pick up roll-off containers, perform safety checks, and interact professionally with customers.

The ideal candidate has a valid Class B CDL, DOT medical card, and strong map-reading and communication skills. The role requires flexibility for nights/weekends and working outdoors in varying conditions.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• DOT Medical Card required or able to obtain before hire.
• Ability to read and understand a map and follow routes.
• Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Routinely enter/exit the truck multiple times daily.
• Hook/unhook containers and secure loads with tarps.
• Communicate with dispatch on additional work orders for quality service.
• Maintain route and driver logs; perform pre-/post-trip inspections.
