Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is hiring a Utility Driver to service customers with waste or recycling collection. You will operate multiple truck types, complete routes, and ensure safe, compliant service on each stop.

The role requires a valid Class B CDL, the ability to read maps, and strong customer service skills. Expect outdoor work, variable hours, and potential overtime; benefits include health, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license required.
• Ability to read and interpret maps and directions.
• Good communication with customers and team members.

Responsibilities

• Provide trash or recycling removal services safely and efficiently.
• Operate various trucks and routes.
• Enter/exit the truck 300–500 times per day.
• Handle missed stops and route adjustments as needed.
• Deliver containers and maintain curb appeal at customer sites.
• Maintain logs and perform pre/post trip inspections.
• Interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
