Job summary

CMC is seeking a forklift operator to support precast concrete production. You will operate rough terrain forklifts, move materials, and assist production teams with daily schedules while ensuring safety and efficiency.

The role requires forklift certification, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfortable outdoor work in varying conditions. High school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• Experience operating rough terrain or large-capacity forklifts in industrial settings.
• Ability to move oversized or heavy materials safely.
• Knowledge of forklift safety, load securement and handling best practices.
• Ability to inspect equipment and identify safety or maintenance issues.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain good attendance.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality and teamwork.
• Physically demanding work, including standing, walking, climbing, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.

What You'll Do

• Safely operate rough terrain forklifts and other heavy material handling equipment to support precast concrete production operations.

What You'll Need

• Forklift certification required.
• Experience operating rough terrain forklifts or large-capacity industrial forklifts in a manufacturing, construction, or industrial environment.
• Ability to safely move oversized, heavy, or irregularly shaped materials and products.
• Knowledge of forklift safety, load securement, and material handling best practices.
• Ability to inspect equipment and identify potential safety or maintenance issues.Ability to work independently, follow written and verbal instructions, and maintain reliable attendance.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work around heavy equipment, noise, dust, and varying weather conditions.
